How to play
Click the tile to start. It turns red: “Wait for green”.
After a random delay between 2 and 6 seconds it switches to green.
Click or tap as fast as you can. If you click too early, the attempt is repeated.
After three attempts you see each reaction time in milliseconds and your average.
Test and improve your reaction time
The reaction test measures how quickly you respond to a visual signal – from the moment the tile turns green until your click. Because the delay is random every time, you can't anticipate it; you have to actually react.
Most people score between 200 and 300 milliseconds online. Under 230 ms is very fast, under 180 ms is lightning fast. Your time also depends on your mouse, screen and how you feel that day, so compare results from the same device. Well rested, focused and with a bit of practice you'll get measurably faster – for gaming, sports or traffic.
